When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

BEFORE PLUGGING IN your steamer, be sure the electrical information agrees with your power supply. To avoid a circuit overload, DO NOT operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit at the same time.

TO PROTECT against the risk of electric shock, DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

DO NOT allow the cord to touch hot surface. ALWAYS allow the appliance to cool before storing.

Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. DO NOT leave appliance unattended while connected.

Burns could occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam. Use care when you turn a steam appliance upside down, as there may be hot water in the reservoir.

ALWAYS disconnect the appliance from the outlet BEFORE filling with or removing water. Be careful to AVOID spilling excess water into the reservoir when removing or placing the reservoir bottle into the reservoir.

DIFFERENT water sources contain different levels of mineral content. If the steamer being cut on and off during normal use, the thermostat is indicating the heating unit may have sediment inside which needs to be cleared out.

ALWAYS disconnect the appliance when not in use.

DO NOT operate appliance with a damaged cord, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance, contact our Service Centre for examination and repair. Incorrect re-assembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is used.
